Project Description:
Most common prices (MCP) are SKU Price points where the most volume(units) or value sales are happening in a defined period and stores. Standard reporting uses the top 5 MCPs, split into the regular, promo, and total. These price points are real shelf prices that are relevant benchmarks for the client to compare with. Knowing the MCP and the % of units sold in a certain market helps the user understand whether he wants to be aligned, underpriced or overpriced compared to the MCP, this will vary depending on his pricing strategy.
Provide Client access to the latest (last week RMS, previous day Audit/WEB) price position analyzing different data sources available in a standardized format to Nielsen from retailers and audits/scraps, analyzing the volume of sales behind different price points using price dispersions and MCP, correctly split to Regular and Promo conditions. Our Clients and Analysts can customize outputs in an online platform based on Nielsen Standard output as a part of our core product.
Our retail clients would be able to use our product to get the analytics for their Retailer stores only, for the Market benchmark only or as a comparison of the Retailer store vs Benchmark. Manufacturers will be able to compare their brands vs competitive
