Software Testing Engineer

Roles and Responsibility

• Successfully developing feature files for the test cases and ensuring smooth execution of the same; monitoring & ensuring proper drafting of bug sheets as per project requirement using Excel
• Initiating the assessment and training of new members in the team
• Conducting the regression and re-testing for ensuring the resolution of the defects
• Assessing the client data and managing the operations relating to Configuration, Maintenance, and Testing
• Collaborating with the developers to discuss the priority of defects and successfully updating the status of defects, once fixed; initiating the cross-device and cross-OS testing
• Successfully managing operations relating to testing, client interaction, gap analysis, estimations, task allocation, risk analysis, and mentoring new team members
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams and conducting Quality Assessment & providing UAT support, bug reporting & tracking; conducting end-to-end Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and Smoke Testing Benchmarking best practices and reviewing matrices to ensure consistency in quality of interaction with clients and foster continuous improvement in service levels
• Building professional relationships with external & internal partners to enhance functional capability and ensure alignment on objectives and metrics
• Monitoring the overall functioning of processes, identifying improvement areas, and implementing suitable measures Mapping client/ business requirements and providing customized software solutions involving finalization of product specifications and selection of appropriate techniques
