✓  Project# 6 :                     DB2 to Oracle Migration

Client                                 : Optum

Role                                    :Associate Test Lead: Lead the Team of several members.

Synopsis:

Rx-Builder extract process & BBS2 creation process needs to be migrated from DB2 to Oracle server. Rx-CLAIM Extract process currently runs on Optum RXBCH Production System (I-Series Environment). Enhancement done to Rx-Builder extracts process which will be run on Both Oracle and I-Series Rx-Builder regions. Oracle Rx-Builder Extract process will run only for those regions which will be migrated from I-Series DB2 to Oracle (not all regions). Performance is also improved by reducing the time taken to execute the batch jobs.

Roles & Responsibilities:

●     QA Lead for the offshore QA Team. Responsible for managing and planning work at offshore.

●     Responsible for planning and managing releases, on time high quality delivery, production support and implementing system improvements to increase business benefits.

●     Involved in preparation of test plans and the Effort estimations for the new requirements.

●     Involved in creating test data and test cases based upon the business requirement

●     Formed efficient, competent team of 8 test engineers integrated into all aspects of software lifecycle, resulting in significant improvement in quality of software deliverables.

Synopsis:

GxCare and IFMS project is BMS migration project for which all the Data is migrated for another client that is EX-Commercial. A new application is launched for it for which GUI testing, database testing and configuration testing is needed. An automated process is developed in order to migrate large amount of Benefit plans data from External Client Source platform (PBM) into Rx-CLAIM system .Benefit Plan data is extracted from the source system and loaded into a staging database. Benefit Plan File containing the target data is generated using - mapping rules, configurations, and BPE. The Benefit Plan File is then loaded into the target system.

Roles & Responsibilities:

●     Involved in preparation of test plans and the Effort estimations for the new requirements.

●     Involved in creating test data and test scripts on cucumber feature file based upon the business requirement

●     Designed, executed and maintained Selenium Web Driver (TestNg, JUnit) automated test cases for regression test cases
